Welcome to The Knoydart Retreat, where we have created the perfect environment for creatives to flourish.

Founded in 2020, we run creative retreats for songwriters and photographers on the beautifully remote peninsula of Knoydart on Scotland's west coast. Cut off from the mainland with no roads in or out, and only accessible by boat or a two-day hike, this truly is the UK’s last great wilderness’. From the moment you step onto the peninsula you enter a treasured environment that transports you to a land that unlocks creativity.

The aim of our immersive retreats is to take creatives away from life’s distractions and to offer a unique, untouched environment that allows you to fully immerse yourself in your art by working closely with award-winning mentors. ​

Then add to the mix fabulously delicious home-cooked food, great conversation, adventure, whisky by the fire, Britain's most remote pub, new friendships, laughter, walking in the hills, star gazing, the chance to see the Northern Lights, spectacular sunrises and sunsets and rainbows like you’ve never seen… this really will be an inspirational week in the wilderness for all.
